UF/IFAS Sarasota County Extension - Wildlife
Florida has a rich and diverse ecosystem that supports many different kinds of animals and plants. Almost everyone likes to spend some time outdoors looking at wildlife, plants, clouds and sky.
We are lucky in Florida to have many acres of woodlands where wildlife live and few men roam. However, as we grow, we move further into those woodlands and the land available for wildlife shrinks. Now, more than ever, we must learn to coexist with wildlife as deer and coyote alike become our neighbor.
