About Sarasota's Green Gardens

Sarasota's Green Gardens is an exciting, new project currently being planned for Twin Lakes Park. Once complete, it will be a community learning garden incorporating Florida-Friendly Landscaping™, Low Impact Development (LID) and residential landscaping solutions.

Mission:

“To demonstrate landscaping and gardening practices that protect Florida’s water resources.”

A steering committee meets monthly to collaborate on the design and development of the project. All meetings are open to the public. The next meeting is scheduled for:
